Types of Government
Unitary:
A Unitary government is a government in which authority is centralized. All power comes from the National Government. There is almost no power left to be distributed to the regional and local citizens.
Confederation:
A Confederation type of government are when independent states or countries come together to for a common goal. A less complicated way to think of it is that it is almost the exact opposite of a unitary type of government because the states or regions have more power than the National Government.
Federal:
A Federal government is known as a mixture of a Unitary and Confederate type of government. Neither regional nor national government has too much power.
