Pressure in liquid
consider a surface area A in a liquid at a depth h. the force acting on the surface will be the weight W of the liquid above the surface. if ῥ is the density of the liquid and m is the mass of the liquid above the surface then
mass of the liquid cylinder = volume x density
= (Axh) x ῥ
force acting on the surface on area A = w= mg
= Ahpg
p= f/a
ahpg/A
P = pgh
