'I wrote all over the walls' Could be a metaphor to show the words she screams while in labour, filling the room I- puts imageary of a never ending war, which and fight for love, 'tender circles'- never endings- two stanzas 'past' then 'present' setting the sence firstly then saying how much life has changed apart from this fight.
