Arts as communication and education: 1. Yes art is a language since it conveys emotions, meassages etc. However not all can understand 2. Both music and language convey a message. Also music is partly dependent on laguage since it uses language to mediate. 3. Yes it can, since both of them can mediate a feeling. They can mediate it differently however create the same outcome of contact with the listener/reader. 4. One gain the actual feeling of how it felt being in the war and how it was dying due to the war. Historical fact could mention that people felt like this, but it could not mediate the feeling of how it was like to be there in person.5. It can make us experience e.g. danger without being in danger. It can make us experience without actually being at the place or time of matter.6. Because they want to experience the feeling of e.g. fear without having to possibly die. 7. I think it affects people the most if they´re well done, for example if the action is relatively realistic. Violent films can make one "experience", understant and enjoy/loath violence but sometimes one get distanced to the violent since it's too unrealistic. 8. Yes there is, beacuse not all things are true, and not all things should be told (in order to assure all people´s intergity etc.)
