- 1Parity CheckingThe use of parity bits to check that data has been transmitted accurately.
- 2ASCII CodeThe most common format for text files in computers and on the Internet. Each alphabetic, numeric or special character is represented with a 7-bit binary number.

- 9Bitmap GraphicsComposed of many tiny parts, called pixels, which are often many different colours. It is possible to edit each individual pixel.
- 10Raster GraphicsDigital images created or captured as a set of samples of a given space. A raster is a grid of x and y coordinates on a display space.
