Homonymy : different lexemes w/ same form but unrelated meanings e.g. bank (financial institution & riverside)
Polysemy : single lexemes with multiple, related meanings e.g. chicken (the animal & the meat) - 2Hyponomy/HypernymyRelationship between the general & the specific.
Hyponym : Is_A relation between words. car is a hyponym of vehicle.

The old train... the young/left the station - 8Global AmbiguityThe whole sentence is ambiguous. Can be resolved using semantic/pragmatic analysis. E.g.
I saw the Grand Canyon flying to New York
We know the meaning of the sentence because we know what can and cannot fly
