- 1Define DataSet of raw facts and figures that have not been processed by a computer. E.g. data from surveys.
- 2Define informationData being processed by a computer which gives it meaning. E.g. sorting something into a order.
- 3Define KnowledgeApplying rules to information.
- 4State 2 benefits of encoding data1. Less storage space is needed, more data can be stored.
2. Saves staff time, therefore money. As less time is spent keying in the data. - 5Problem with encoding dataVALUE JUDGEMENT and SUBJECTIVE OPINION. When relying on value judgement it could lead to less accurate data as people have different opinions. E.g. height sizes S, M, T
