- 1What is the purpose of the CPU?The purpose of the CPU is to fetch, decode and execute instructions.
- 2What is an embedded system?An embedded system is a computer integrated into another device, such as a mobile phone.

- 4What is a professional standard?Professional standards are rules that everyone should follow when developing a computer system.

- 11What is cache memory?A collection of items of the same of items of the same type stored in a hidden or inaccessible place.
- 12What is a communication device?A communication device is where you can pass on a piece of information from one computer system to another, e.g. through bluetooth.
- 13What is hardware?Hardware is something that you can touch such as a keyboard or mouse.
- 14What two items are stored in the RAM?Data and instructions
