They maintain the cellular cavities in bone- exchange nutrients and waste between bone blood. - 9OsteoblastsBone forming cells.
- 10Osteoprogenitor cellsUnspecialised stem cells derived from mesenchyme that give rise to bone forming cells, osteoblasts.
Found in the inner layer of periosteum and endosteum.
