- 1How many shapes and what shapes can you cut out of a cone?4 and they are a circle, eclipse, parabola, hyperbola.
- 2What formula do you use to find the midpoint of a straight line?usng x1,yx and x2,y2 you can use( (x1+x2/2),(y1+y2/2)).
- 3If they give you two co-ordinates and tell you to find the gradient or midpoint how will you go about this.Firstly you will draw the graph to accetain any extra marks then you will use the method above to work out the midpoint or for the gradient you will find the difference between y and then divide this by the difference between x
- 4how would you find the perpindicular gradient of a line-1/gradient
