- 1Many drawings that would have traditionally been hand drawn and rendered can now be easily achieved with the use of appropriate software. The basic tools allow shapes and lines to be drawn, to which colour and texture can be added. Digitised images, such as scanned pictures and existing graphics files, can be combined and manipulated in the same way.
