Flashcards
Non Parametric Tests
Flashcards do conjunto (7)
- 1Non parametric tests based on the binomial distributionMedian test (paired)
Sign test (unpaired) - 2Non parametric tests based on ranksRan sum (Mann/Whitney) test
Wilcoxon paired samples test - 3Rank sum (Mann-Whitney test)Testing difference of ranks
No assumptions about data distribution
Robust to outliers
(testing for difference of medians not means) - 4Wilcoxon signed rank testTakes the sign of differences into account
- 5Paired Paired samples t test Wilcoxon test Sign testIndependent
Independent samples t test
Rank sum (Mann-Whitney)
Median test - 6Going down each groupDecreasing assumptions
Use less information
Less sensitive
More robust - 7Median and sign testNot used in practice because of their low power
