- 1What is grooming?Grooming is a type of manipulation that strangers use online to meet children in the real world.
- 2What is the first sign of grooming?The first sign is the stranger asking you your favourite things and acting like they enjoy the same things you do.
- 3What is the second sign of grooming?The second sign is the groomer trying to befriend you or gain your trust. This can be by flattering you, eg: "You look really nice in this photo"
- 4What is the third sign of grooming?The third sign is asking if your alone or with somebody else in the room. Groomers do this so nobody can see what they're trying to do.
- 5What is the fourth sign of grooming?The fourth sign is asking you to do things. eg: "You should send me more photos of you" These requests usually aren't requests and come with something like "if you don't do as I ask then i'll post all these pictures online!"
- 6What is the final sign of grooming?The last sign is asking to meet you in person. NEVER MEET SOMEBODY ONLINE IN REAL LIFE!
- 7What should you do if you think you're being groomed?Block, report the user and then tell a trusted adult
