Substances that are hydrocarbons: Benzene, ethylbenzene, kerosene, gasoline, hydraulic fluids, jet fuels JP-4, JP-5, JP-7 and JP-8, n-Hexane, Napthalene, 1-methylnapthalene, 2-methylnapthalene, polycylic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), Toluene, Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH), Used mineral-based crankcase oil and Xylenes. Substances that are not hydrocarbons: Ethylamine, glucose, water, carbon monoxide, alcohol and acetylene.
