What is the first stage of meiosis? The cell duplicates its DNA- one arm of each chromosome is an exact copy
What is the second stage of meiosis? The first division. The chromosome pairs line up in the center of the cell
What is the third stage of meiosis? The pairs are then pulled apart sp each new cell only has one copy of each chromosome. Some of both parents chromosomes go into each cell
