- equate the equation used to find Rcost and Rsint
- R = root of (Rcos^2t + Rsin^2t)
- t = tan^-1(rsint/rcost)
- rewrite as answer -> R and t will now be numbers - 6cosecA?1/sinA

- 9cosec^2 A?1 + cot^2 A

- 17Solving Rcos(x+t)? e.g. 0solve within the limits, remember when adding/taking away, do after you've found all the possible answers
- 18when does the maximum occur?when is the graph at its maximum? e.g. cos is at 1 when it's 0. so e.g.
x + 26.6 = 0
or
x + 26.6 = 360
so x = -26.6 or 333.4 DONT USE NEGATIVE ONE so occurs when x = 333.4 - 19transformationsuse the Rcos(x+t) to describe transformation
