1. INPUT

   • KEYBOARD-Allows user to INPUT information
   • COMPUTER MOUSE- Allows user to move around and click data

2. OUTPUT

   • PRINTER- Prints out pieces of information on paper
   • MONITOR- Shows user whats happening

3. STORAGE

   • MAGNETIC- an affordable way to store large pieces of large information.
   • OPTICAL- making patterns or grooves on a piece of material which can be read by a system using consentrated light
     • DISC- a piece of storage that you can carry around. it can be read by the grooves on 1 using concentrated light
   • SOLID STATE- a piece of storage that (unlike a memory stick) cannot be moved around
