1. Firewall

   • A firewall is a program or device that acts as a barrier to keep destructive elements out of a network or specific computer. Firewalls are configured (in hardware, software, or both) with specific criteria to block or prevent unauthorized access to a network.

2. Antivirus

   • Antivirus or anti-virus software, is computer software used to prevent, detect and remove malicious software. Antivirus software was originally developed to detect and remove computer viruses.

3. Passwords

   • A password is a way of proving to a computer that you are who you claim to be.

4. Encryption

   • In cryptography, encryption is the process of encoding a message or information in such a way that only authorized parties can access it. Encryption does not itself prevent interference, but denies the intelligible content to a would-be interceptor.
