Chapter 5

  1. current financial crisis

    • Governments: many goverments have never been in such debt as they are today. the world that we know of has never been in a crisis like this so it is unclear what will happen next.
      • communications: because of this major debt people are losing faith in their governments. if they are unable to sustain themselves financially how will they be able to help the society itself.
    • Companies: in the business world the crisis is hitting companies very differently than the government. although there is such a high crisis people still want a certain standard of living. although there is a major crisis people have continued to buy iphones. companies as such have to had such a huge impact from the crisis
      • communications: communications will need to have a good reputation and advertising to make sure their products will continue to be bought.
    • social: the citizens are slowly starting to get out of the crisis. people are able to buy more and have a higher standard of life.
      • communications: the crisis is a highly discussed issue. people will have their own opinions about it and the goverment and the crisis.
  2. debt

    • Governments: many governments all over the world have huge debts. Large countries like America are unable to limit their spending to be able to get out of this debt and simply get into more debt.
      • Communications: goverments will need to assure their citizens that they are still able to do their job properly eventhough they are billions in debt. they will need to remain a trustworthy reputation
    • Companies: many companies do not have the same problem as goverments with debts. Many large companies are financially stable and gain a profit. it is often that small companies or big companies who overestimated their popularity often dont make a profit. this leads to debt or the bankruptcy and closing of a company.
      • Communications: companies whom do not have debts need to advertise this and use this for their reputation that they are a profit making organization. this will be appealing for the general public. companies whom are in debt but are still able to continue production or their services will need to advertise better in order to remain and gain clients.
    • society: households are often also in debt. wether it is because they had just bought a house or college education has to be paid.
      • Communications: to avoid debt or to get out of it societies will have to be financially independent. this has to be adviced by both individuals to each other and the government to its citizens.
  3. loans

    • governments: although governments often receive loans and make a debt for themsleves they also give out loans. to organizations, other companies, social crisis' etc.
      • Communications: the goverment will need to justify their reasons to loan money. as it is taxpayers money they need to assure the general public will not revolt against the governments choices.
    • Companies: there aren't a lot of companies whom give out loans. it is mostly the government and individuals. there are also banks which are owned by entrepeneurs instead of the goverment. they are able to give out loans how ever there are several small companies which also lend money to people. however this is mostly illegal. companies can however receive loans often to help them avoid bankruptcy.
      • Communications: the banks which are privately owned will need to advertise their offers on loans and express why they are the best choice.
    • Society: citizens often take out loans. these are for the same reasons why they are in debt. often for houses or education or to sustain a lifestyle.
      • People can talk to each other about the best loan options. also talk about how to pa back the loan.
