       • Uses less memory because the compiler doesn't have to be present all the time
       • Runs faster once the program has actually started
     • Cons
       • Doesn't show where the errors are and only finds the errors after attempting to execute them
       • Slower to start as it has to translate the whole program first
   • Interpreter
     • Translates all code line by line
     • Pros
       • Shows where errors are as it stops when it reaches the error
       • Program starts straight away
     • Cons
       • Runs slower
   • Assembler
     • Translates the low level language assembly to machine code
     • Pros
       • Translates faster as assembly is closer to machine code
     • Cons

   • Allows the developer to test his code without affecting his device
   • For example: code for a smartphone written on a PC

3. Auto Docuementation

   • Shows what the code is supposed to do
   • Tracks variables

4. Source Code Editor

   • Allows uses to write edit and save code
   • Auto-completion automatically finishes words saving time
   • Bracket matching adds brackets that are missing reducing errors
   • Syntax check highlights or auto corrects syntax errors

5. Debugger

   • Detects errors and may give possible solutions
