    1. Things that can be counted. Use the article a or an.
      1. Single
        1. Dog, man, person, litre, coin.
          1. My dog is hungry.
        2. Plural
          1. Dog, men, people, litres, coins.
            1. My dogs are hungry.
      2. Uncountable
        1. Substances, concepts etc. that cannot be counted. Use the article "a something of noun" e.g. a grain of rice.
          1. Music, art, love, happiness, rice, water, electricity, gas, power.
            1. I haven't got much milk left so I will need to buy some tomorrow.
