1. 1st person/3rd person

   • newspaper's are mainly written in the first person this is because they talk about people in the news/ celebrities and not themselves

2. objective/subjective

   • a newspaper will mainly be objective, this is as newspapers mainly contain facts and figures however sometimes it can ask for a reader's opinion making it partly subjective

3. eye witness

   • an eye witness statement is used within a newspaper to reinforce content of the news story

4. authoritative/expert

   • no expert advice will be found in a newspaper as there is not really any need for it

5. detached/interactive

   • just like a news program, a newspaper can be both detached and interactive, it can be interactive in a way of getting the reader involved by sending in pictures or asking for there opinion
