   • Stimulatary patterns did not change the release of LH/FSH
     • Due to desensitization to GnRH pulses
   • Ratio of FSH:GnRH due to
     • Differential Clearance
     • Ovarian Feedback
     • Differential Synthesis in intact tissue
     • Other hormones that cause FSH secretion

3. Steroid Feedback Mechanism

   • Castrated
     • Males
       • Effects Testosterone that decreases frequency and amplitude
     • Females
       • Increases GnRH receptors but blocked if estrogen or other steroids are given

   • Pulse Amplitude
   • Interval
   • Duration
   • Rise Rate
