1. Conditionals Sentence Type 3

   • Formula
     • wold/ Could/ Might + have+ past participle
     • IF + Past Perfect
   • Are Used
     • to talk about unreal or imaginary situations in the past
       • example
         • If i had won a raffle, I would have left my old
     • to express regret, satisfaction or unfulfilled condition in the past
       • example
         • If I hadn´t gone to bed so late last night, I would have woken up on time this morning
     • to criticise somebody/something
       • example
         • If you had completed your degree, you might have found a better job

2. Mixed Conditionals

   • Mixed conditionals do not follow the tense rules strictly; we can make combinations according to the context
   • Formula
     • If + past perfect
       • (had + Past Participle) subject + would / could + base form
         • If you had taken some coffe, you would field more wake now
     • If + Past simple
       • subject + would have + past participle
         • If I had an airplane I would have picked you up from Canada were your were traveling

3. Unreal past

   • present or future refrence
     • sometimes we use the past simple when referring to the present or fututre this is called unreal past
       • wish/ if only + past simple
         • is used to make a wish about a present or future situation which we would like to be different, or a present or future ability
           • I wish a had a luxurios car
       • wish / if only + could + bare infinitive
         • is used to express regret about something we can not do at present
           • I wish I could traveled with you yesterday
       • Wish / if only+ would + bare infinitve
         • is used to express annoyance, irritation, dissatisfaction, and to make a wish concerning a present a situation that is unlikely to change
           • I wish the time that I am without you will go by more fast
       • would rather + past simple
         • is use to say that will would prefer somebody to do or not do something
           • I´d rather you didn´t use my car to go to your house
       • Its( high/about) time + past simple
         • is use to express criticism or complain about something that should have already been done
           • Its time you must been at work
       • as if / as thought + past simple
         • is use for untrue situations
           • He speaks as if he were an a cientific person
       • Wish / if only + past perfect simple
         • is used to express regret about something that happened or didn´t happen in the past
           • I wish I had battery on my phone. I can´t communicate with my wife
       • would rather / as if / as though + past perfect
         • is used for unreal situations in the past
           • I´d rather you had informed me earlier in the morning
