1. Input

   • Touch Screen
     • A touch screen is a device you use your fingers instead of buttons. The screen picks up the movements and processes it and uses the data to perform an action.
   • Web camera
     • A web camera works like this, you set the camera up and you can video chat with any person around the world. It works because the camera sensor picks up movements of you which send it to the person you are videoing.
   • electric pen
     • An electric pen is something you use as an ordinary pen but you use it on an electric device .
   • Controller
     • A controller is basically a remote for a gaming/internet device.
   • keyboard
     • You press the chosen keys to input: letters, numbers and punctuation. Therefore it is an input device. Usaully connected to a compute/montor

2. Output

   • Projector
     • A projector is connected to a device which uses the data and travels to the projector which makes it shows on a screen.                              
   • Printer
     • You add a photo or work and press the print button which sends a signal copying it and printing it on your chosen materials.
   • HeadPhones
     • Headphones are an object that you plug into a device and sends signals to it to make the sound project into your ears. E.g. Music.
   • Speakers
     • You use your device and send signalises music to it or sound and it plays out into the speakers
   • TV
     • A tv operates using a remote which bluetooths to the tv. You would press the buttons which signal programmes and shows which appear on the screen.  
   • Photo Copier
     • You put something flat and press copy and it copies it again and again.
   • Mouse
     • A mouse is connected to the computer so you can use it so move the clicker on the screen.

3. Processing

   • Computer
     • A computer works by using the keyboard and mouse which are connected to use signals for it to show your action on the screen. So it processes the data.
   • Memory Card
     • A memory card is a small card entered into your device which holds all your memory and things.
   • Calculator
     • A calculator works by you typing in a sum or a question, and it showing you the answer. It's a processing device because it processes the sum.
   • Card Machine
     • A card machine works as you enter your card in its processes the details as you put your pin in and it removes money or adds money .
   • Phone
     • A phone is a processing device because it processes the data you enter.

4. Storage

   • USB
     • A usb stores data in a stick which you plug into another device and it gives you the data
   • Discs
     • A disc is where you store data/ information which can be played in dvd players or cd players.
   • Flash Drive
     • A flash drive is a drive that you can connect to other device tonstore more thsn one thing.
   • Hard Drive
     • A hard drive is a drive which stores data in folders so documents.
   • The Cloud
     • The cloud needs internet becasue it stores online data.
   • Memory card
     • A memory card goes into a touch screen or a phone which stores photos and information or even data.
