1. Thinking ahead

   • Used in planning a new program.
   • Can be used to prevent/fix bugs and glitches.

2. Thinking abstractly

   • Looking at core features to gather information on what makes a program good.
   • Then adding unique design features which hasn't been done before.

3. Thinking logically

   • Looking on previous evidence
   • Looking at trends in successful apps.

4. Thinking procedurally

   • Breaking a big task into smaller pieces.
   • Allows jobs to be completed more efficiently
   • Saves time.
   • Can also exploit problems as more people are viewing the task.
