     • An algorithm is a series of steps to complte a task
     • Decomposition is braking down a problem into smaller easier ones
     • Abstraction is the proccess of getting rid of all unneeded infomation and only keep what is neccesary

     • An input device in something that send infomation into the computer

     • Output is a device that that receives infomation from the computer and outputs a sound, light, movement or heat

     • Hybrids are devices that are able to do both input and out put infomation from a computer

2. Paper 2

   • Hardwear
     • The cache
     • The CPU executes programs using the fetch-decode-execute cycle
       • The poformance of a CPU is determid by the number or cores and the type of cache memory
       • Fetch-decode-execute cycle is the cycle that the CPU uses to to execute programs
         • The processor fetches the instruction value from this memory location. Once the instruction has been fetched, it needs to be decoded and executed. Once this is complete, the processor goes back to the program counter to find the next instruction. This cycle is repeated until the program ends.
