         • Information allow the public to make choices between different products, use public services, be informed of their civil rights and responsibilities, and allow distance learning.
           • Within the economy the information sector’s function is to satisfy the general demand for information facilities and services. A significant part of the sector is concerned with the technological infrastructure like the networks of telecommunications and computers.

     • It refers to all devices, networking components, applications and systems that facilitate interaction with the digital world. ICT’s components include data, Internet access, cloud computing, software, hardware, transactions, and communications technology.

         • ICT has drastically changed how people work, communicate, learn and live, and continues to revolutionize all parts of the human experience, from computers to robots.
         • ICT contributes greatly to the economic development.
         • Within ICT have brought a slew of cost savings opportunities and conveniences like big data revolution that leads new insights products and services, and ICT driven transactions like online shopping, telemedicine and social media.
