   • * The alliterations of the - L - sounds emphasises the softness of the wind.

7. TWO main types

   • ITALIAN / PETRARCHAN
     • Two Parts: 1. OCTAVE (Rhyming a b b a a b b a) 2. SESTET (rhyming c d e c d e - with some variants)
       • OCTAVE sets the scene: problem / issue
       • SESTET provide solution / deeper meaning
   • ENGLISH / SHAKESPEAREAN
     • Three QUATRAINS (rhyming a b a b c d c d e f e f). Concluding or rhyming couplet (g g).
       • Three quatrains will deal with the setting of the problem. Introduce the theme of sonnet
       • Couplet (heroic couplet) deal with solution or summary
