Nuts and bolts

1. Threading

   • making bolts
   • Put the threading die into the die stock
     • Find an equivalent bar of metal
       • Clamp the bar in place and start threading
         • The technique is half turn forwards, quarter turn back, the quarter turn forwards and repeat
           • The quarter turn back is to get rid of the waste
         • The die holder must be kept level so you don't have a druken thread
       • Prepare it by rounding the edges of the bar
     • the die must be the equivalent size to the bar

2. Tapping

   • making nuts
   • Put the tap in the tap wrench
     • Drill a hole through you piece of metal
       • The hole must be equivalent to the tap
       • Clamp the bar in place and start tapping
         • The tap holder must be kept level so you don't have a wobbly hole
         • The technique is half turn forwards, quarter turn back, the quarter turn forwards and repeat
