RAM is random access memory
RAM also acts a temporary store of program instructions and data.
ROM is read only memory
ROM is used to store basic information and instructions that a computer needs it is starting up.
Cache is a tempory data store so that the data can be accessed very quickly when needed.
there are 3 types of storage : magnetic storage, optical storage and solid state storage.
