Categorizing is Only Natural

• Categorizing is an innate skill that people have and love to do.
• Young children don't fully understand the concept of categorization but past age seven, they inherently learn how to categorize and enjoy the act of organizing and grouping.
• If you fail to provide adequate categories and organization in your design, people will become overwhelmed and attempt to categorize the information themselves.
