  1. Rabbits 1

    • RABBITS 1 (Embed)
    • Rabbits 1 is a very interesting and unusual short film, it doesn't contain any horror like content but at the same time gives its viewers the same feeling that most people would get from a film filled with suspense. However, in this short film the feeling of suspense is twisted as it constantly makes us feel like something will happen with the plot, but it never does, and there is no plot.
  2. Slide 2

    • The setting is very strange as it makes us view what is happening as if it is a stop motion video due to how open the set is, adding to this uncomfortable feeling we get throughout the entirety of the film. A denotation is how the colour of the room is also presented, an old fashioned hospital like green covering all of the walls with almost all of the other parts in the set being brown, this usage of colour gives a creepy feeling to the viewer as it is very dull but also very unusual.

  3. Slide 3

    • A symbol to identify is the rabbits themselves, throughout the film one of the rabbits is constantly checking outside as if they are constantly paranoid. In reality rabbits usually are very scared and paranoid creatures so by making the characters rabbits gives code to the viewer of what they are feeling, without giving a full sentence eventually giving us this paranoid sign.
    • The film should be understood in a way where the viewer stops tying to find a plot and look at the visual meanings and the actions that take place and to create their own meaning about the film. Look for the connotations and look deeper for meanings that you would not usually think of
