    Well-practiced skills don’t require conscious attention.

    Too many automatic steps can lead to errors.
    If  you have a task that is repeated over and over again, it becomes easy to overrun, or go past the last item you wanted to do the task on.
    Make it easy for people to undo the last action, or preferably a sequence.
