1. Introduction

The algorithmic way of thinking that is still called algorithmic literacy has a great impact on our life. In fact, algorithmic literacy is part of a wider concept of digital literacy. Digital literacy is the ability to use contemporary information technologies, while algorithmic literacy deals with their application [1]. Also, we can say that the algorithic way of thinking is a tool by which we improve our work and therefore it is essential in performing certain functions. In order to get acquainted with our topic, we will explain the basic concepts like: algorithm, algorithmic literacy, we will introduce you and with the history of the algorithm, algorithmic culture and ultimately round the entire work.

1.1. ALGORITHM

In order to meet you with the notion of algorithmic literacy, we must first explain what the algorithm is at all. We can say that algorithm is the ultimate sequence of defined commands to solve tasks. In computing, the algorithm represents a set of commands or instructions on a computer to solve a problem, step by step [2]. In addition to the application of algorithms in computing, this term is actually used on a daily basis, but you are not even aware of it. For example:

- summing fruit to basket

- crossing the road

- Coffee cooking

If you want to solve the problem of crossing the road, we will share it in a few steps, commands:

Step 1: Get to the pedestrian crossing

Step 2: Stop

Step 3: See the left and right side of the road

Step 4: If there are vehicles, wait until they pass and proceed to the next step, and if there is no vehicle to move to the next step

Step 5: cross the road

Each of these examples is one problem, and for each of these problems we can define instructions, which can also be used by someone, and to achieve the same results for the same problem. The condition is that we have the ultimate number of instructions that will be executed sequence. If we do not have the ultimate number of instructions, the problem will never be resolved. So in our example we have exactly five steps and after the fifth step the problem is solved. So we can say that algorithms are the ultimate sequence of commands because they consist of finality and sequence [1].

1.2. Algorithmic literacy

Generally, algorithmic literacy is a set of knowledge and skills to perform certain tasks [3]. The algorithmic way of thinking is actually a skill to solve complex problems, by solving the problem from a series of simpler problems. That is why it was necessary to get acquainted with the concept of the algorithm itself because it actually represents that set of instructions by which we solve the default problem. By using algorithms, we can make our work more efficient and perform tasks in much shorter time periods. In fact, the algorithic way of thinking encourages us to find the best and most efficient solution in every situation. Algorithmic literacy has wide application. For example, using algorithmic thinking, we get the ability of automation, which means that when we notice that some process repeatedly repeatedly in the same way, we can use automation to shorten the time of solving such a process and solve it in a much simpler way. Automation is very useful in any segment of life, and especially in jobs where people who have developed automation ability because this means that it will be very effective to do some business. With algorithmic literacy, cognitive abilities are developed. This includes solving simpler algorithmic problems and understanding the algorithms themselves. For this reason, algorithmic literacy is used in working with children because it represents teamwork in solving any task or problem. In addition to developing their abilities, it will also develop a tool that will be able to use in the future.

2. History

Without algorithms there are no algorithmic thinking. Although we have already mentioned the term algorithm, we did not explain its emergence. The word algorithm comes from the name of the Arabic mathematician Muhamed Ibn Musa Al Horezmi (Muhammad son of Muse from Horezma) who lived in IX. century [1]. Until the middle of the 20th century, the name of the algorithm used only mathematicians, however, the appearance of a computer and the term is widespread and we use it in numerous activities and to achieve the desired result. Below we will get acquainted with the algorithmic culture, its emergence and application.

2.1. Algorithmic culture

To begin with, culture is a type of legacy that depends on the space and group of people, we consider it a learned form of life. So the concept of algorithm and culture is closely related. The algorithm and culture together represent a form that is learned by the environment (society), contains input data, ie symbols and information, and output, translated symbols and information transferred to users in response. We can conclude that algorithms learn depending on the user and the environment from which that user comes and makes it a whole computer route and name it algorithmic culture [2]. Many are wondering, whether culture algorithms form in the wrong way? We can say that algorithms are watching and faced with numerous challenges, as it also works and human activity and thus prove that their performance is culturally and become part of the culture itself. We can take Facebook as an example. One of the first social networks that has enabled communication, and today it has developed to this extent to recognize our interests and offers us the content we are interested in, and rejects what is not attracted to us. All of these functions have been developed thanks to algorithms, ie algorithmic thinking mode by which such methods have been developed at all.

2.2. Algorithmic culture in social amenities

When we study algorithms and algorithmic culture, we can spot numerous "phenomena" of algorithmic culture. First, we will state the term "Bubble Filter" we bind with algorithmic culture [4]. According to this concept, people are exposed to what they use every day. Specifically, this term narrows the external influences and limits cultural experiences, so people are so exposed to the same information, content and people. This algorithm is working to selectively assume information that the user would like to see according to what the user is constantly visiting, reads, and so on and as a return response, the user will receive information according to the assumption. The algorithm recognizes the sequence of procedures that the user performs and remembers them [1]. For example, the algorithm tracks steps, or processes data through network applications we use and suggests, for example, YouTube videos that you should look. Algorithms actually monitor our moves on social networks, collect and process data and information and create a picture of us, users to then suggest certain actions that we use usual. Every social media contains your algorithm and so Google. This algorithm functions in a way that imitates us, tracks every one step, links that we access and thus processing search history, our location and the rest. If there are a number of users in the same places, such a page indicates relevant and therefore displays the most relevant results. According to this we can see how smart algorithms are, and how much the algorithic thinking is advanced. Although, the algorithmic way of thinking improves our efficiency and efficiency, algorithms associated with social and network applications have negative impacts on people or culture because people narrow their circle and become isolated, studying the same content and environment every day.

Conclusion

Algorithm as well as algorithmic thinking are part of our everyday life. Algorithms bring many changes and are essential part of today's contemporary society. Likewise, algorithmic culture is as part of our life, essential in the development and progress of the environment, and on society it will accept it or not. The algorithmic way of thinking is the initiator of change, development, therefore without the algorithms world would not be advanced, especially in the field of technology. Today, the children are increasingly encouraged to face small legs with algorithmic literacy and developing with it because it is a powerful tool that will use all life. Only algorithmic thinking consists of solving problems, coping with the challenge itself and finding the shortest and most efficient solution for the default problem. Such thinking develops our cognitive abilities and allows us to perform the tasks faster. According to everything we mentioned in our work we can see that the algorithic way of thinking has more advantages than shortcomings. Some of the greatest benefits are: efficiency, efficiency - faster and easier to perform certain functions and tasks, sometimes the difficult problems we have faced becoming simple, automation and other possibilities. Although it is on society, whether it will accept algorithmic culture and all that it encompasses, in our work, it sees great "yes" for what algorithmic literacy can work in order to improve and prosper for life itself.
