Throughout this paragraph Alagiah presents the reader with a series of juxtapositions, (putting together opposites), in order to draw attention to the inequalities that exist between the West and the 3rd world - 5What language feature does Alagiah use to end this paragraph?A rhetorical question.
He asks, ' If he was embarrassed to be found weakened by hunger and ground down by conflict, how should I feel to be standing there so strong and confident?'
This question is used as a condemnation of his own arrogance and, by extension, that of the West as a whole.
