1. What is HTML?

   • Stands for Hyper text Markup Language
   • A system for tagging text tiles to achieve font, colour, graphics and hyperlink effects on pages.
   • A code
   • HTML is used to mark and describe each of these kinds of contents so the web browser can show them correctly.
   • HTML5 (a newer version) aim is to remove the need to use third-party softwares like Adobe as it slows down the device.

2. What is the WWW?

   • Huge collection of websites where we can access on the www.
     • navigated to via hyperlinks
     • includes images, text and multimedia
     • Websites stored all over the world
   • An information system where documents another web rescources are identiofied by URL'S.
   • It goes from your computer , to your ISP, to the Internet and then to the website Host
   • Web browser is a software used to access or request for information.

3. Head tag: Head tag is used to contain all the head element in the html file.

4. Body tag: It is used to define the body of html document.

5. Title tag: It is used to define the title of html document.
