   • The movement of persons to cultural with intention to gather new experiences to satisfy their cultural needs.

       • A claim by social actors in low social positions who are stigmatized by the dominant groups.

       • Where social actors manipule their cultural materials and construct a new identity that redefines their position in society and transforms the social structure
