   • Viruses

     • Will not infect a device unless opened or run
   • Worms
     • Spread from device to device
     • Can travel without human action
     • Can self-replicate
       • Thousands of copies can be sent out to other devices
   • Trojans
     • Masquerades as a harmless or helpful item
     • Results can vary
       • Some are harmless or irritating
       • Others can cause serious damage

   • Files can be restricted to certain individuals or groups
   • Helps assist with security issues
   • Varying levels of access can be set

   • Biometric authorisation
   • Alarms
     • Fire alarms
     • Burglar alarms
   • Fire-safety and proofing

   • Prohibit addition of extra software/hardware
