1. RAM: Random Access Memory

   • Short Term Memory
   • Memory is lost after the computer is turned off
     • RAM is stored in larger pieces of equipment and has different types
   • RAM is volatile

2. ROM: Read-Only Memory

   • ROM is stored in a small component inside the computer
