1. It encourages a society with no diversity in their intrests, perspectives and knowlege

2. It discourages education, by only teaching students what is required and not what they are really passionate and intrigued by

3. It results in a less effective society by teaching individuals specific information that may be completely irellevant to their future

4. It violates the free will of society by effectively forcing students to devote their attention to particular topics
