4. Plot

   • Desperaux was born as a small mouse, born with his EYES OPEN! His siblings attempt to teach Despereaux how to be a normal mouse, he refuses. He explores the castle where Princess Pea lives. He falls in love and at the same broke the mouse rules which was don't talk to a human. He refuses to apologize and gets thrown to the dungeon where he mets Gregory the jailer
   • Roscuro was instructed by Botticelli to trick a new inmate. When the new inmate came, he was attracted by the light. Botticelli reminds Roscuro he's a rat. Later on he discovers the castle and finds banquet hall full of people. He climbs on the chandelier and unfortunately falls into the Queen's soup which made her pass away. This also caused King Phillip to ban soup and began to hate rats.
   • Miggery Sow's mom past away at the age of 6 and her dad sold her off to a guy named Uncle (not really Mig's uncle). Years came by and Mig was being abused by Uncle and gets clouts in the ear. Uncle doesn't care about Mig's 7th birthday and she got to wave to the princess. She dreams to become a princess. One day Uncle got in trouble and Mig was lucky to become a server to the princess. Unfortunately, Mig failed at everything so her job was to send food to the prisoner in the dungeon and that's where she met Roscuro
   • Roscuro and Mig plan on what to do to the princess. They "kidnapped" her and brought her to the dungeon and Mig told her she wanted to be a princess but Roscuro didn't really give in to Mig's dream. Meanwhile before Mig and Roscuro got to the princess, Mig carried a tray where Roscuro hid and that's where Desperaux was too. Desperaux's tail was later on cut off by Mig. He also later on found out that the Pea was kidnapped so, he tried to talked to the king. Unfortunately he "REJECTED" him so he's on his own. Desperaux attempts to go home and tries to get the red string but he saw the mouse council, but they think he's a ghost and Lester thinks he's alive. So he gets to the thread master to get the rest of the thread. It was also revealed the that the thread master's name is Hovis. Desperaux goes down to dungeon but loses his thread and that's where he met Botticelli and that's also where he gets tricked into going where the princess is. He mets Roscuro and attempts to kill him
     • because of what he did to Mig, which was lying. Because Desperaux forgives him, they got they're wishes: Even though Desperaux can't marry the Pea, they became friends, Mig would be well treated by her dad, who was freed from the dungeon, as a princess, Roscuro was also allowed to get into the light. Desperaux gets a happy ending....
