Mr Utterson goes home
1. He reads Dr Jekylls will and finds that all of his possestions will be passed onto Mr Hyde
  1. Mr Utterson suspects something of this
  2. He goes to visit Dr Layton
    1. Dr Layton
      1. "Hearty, healthy, dapper, red-faced gentelman
      2. Very welcoming
      3. Described as theatrical
      4. Layton and Dr. Jekyll had an argument about science
      5. "Unscientific boulderdash"
    2. Jekyll, Layton and Utterson were once good friends
    3. Layton doesn't know of Mr Hyde
Utterson goes home after seeing Layton
1. He dreams of Mr Hyde
  1. He speculates about Hyde blackmailing Dr Jekyll
Utterson stalks the door where Mr Hyde lives
1. He finally meet Mr Hyde and is repulsed by him
  1. Mr Hyde
    1. "The man seemed hardly human"
    2. "Satans signature upon a face"
Utterson goes to Jekylls house
1. Jekyll is not in but Poole, his butler, is
  1. He finds out that Hyde has a key and Jekylls sevents have orders to obey Hyde
