1. solid state

   • solid state is found in phones,tablets and USB sticks
     • solid states has no mving parts such as if you shank it it would not be damaged
       • solid state has quite a few good stuff to it such as high write speed,energy efficientand durable
     • disadvantages: not as cost effective, recovary of lost data,solid state drives are highly expensive.

2. optical storage :

   • optical storage uses a laser to read and write to CDs,DVDs and blu-Rays.
     • advantages: portable, can be used in a variety of devices and it is very cheap
       • disadvantages: can easily be scratched,low capacity and doesnt have good memory
         • the hard disk inside your PC or laptop is probably magnetic so if you shake or drop it you wold deffrntly break it
           • the advantages are high capacity, cost effective,
             • dissavantages: less durable than solid state , it is also very cheap , it would slow down and advntally break .
               • it is also portable.
