1. solid state

   • It's faster read/write speed compared to optical therefore it can load programs faster
   • It's less capable compared to magnetic therefore it holds less data or files
   • hard drive
   • USB drive
   • it's the most durable of the three, therefore it has least amount of chance to break
   • it's the least cost effective, therefore you get not as much data for a high price
   • it's more portable than magnetic, therefore it takes a lot less effort moving it around

2. magnetic

   • hard drive
   • It's Less portable compared to optical meaning it takes more effort to move
   • It's Much more capable compared solid state, therefore it can hold more programs
   • floppy disk
   • Magnetic is much more durable than optical, this is because optical is much flatter and magnetic is much balkier therefore if you want a storage device that has bulk,out of the two, magnetic is much better
   • Magnetic has less read/write speed, therefore it takes longer to load a document
   • it's more cost effective than solid state, therefore you get more for a similar price

3. optical

   • CD
   • Blue-Ray
   • It's Less durable compared magnetic meaning it is more likely to break
   • It's much more portable compared to magnetic
   • out of all optical is much more cost effective, therefore you get more GB for less money
   • it has a slower read/write speed compared to solid state, therefore it takes longer to load
   • it has the least amount of capacity, therefore it holds the least amount of storage

4. secondary storage is non volatile which means it stores data permanently
