What were Hitler's
Foreign Policy
- To overturn the Treaty of Versailles by rearming and reintroducing conscription, by remilitarizing
the Rhineland, uniting with Austria and reclaiming land lost to Czechoslovakia
- To gain more Lebensraum or living space for the expanding
German population. This extra land would be found by
invading and capturing the USSR
- Invading the USSR would solve Germany's other aim which was to defeat Communism,
the political system they detested because they blamed German Communist
revolutionaries for defeat in WWI
