1. Entering Data

   • Data can be typed into a cell directly or into the formulae box
     • There are the types of data you can enter into a cell.
       • Lables
         • headings and descriptions to make the spreadsheet easier to understand.
       • Data
         • values, usually numbers but can be letters or a combination of both.
       • Formulas
         • calculations that update automatically if referenced data changes.

2. Cells

   • Each cell has it's own cell reference, which consists of a number and a letter.
   • The letter in the cell reference refers to the column.
   • The number in the cell reference refers to the row.
