1. Hardware

   • Definition: Any part of a computer that you can physically touch, pick up,hold etc.
   • Internal Haware Types
     • CPU:(Central Processing Unit) also known as a processor is an electronic circuit that can execute computer programs.
     • Motherboard: a printed circuit board that is the foundation of a computer, it is located either on the bottom or backside of the computer case.
     • Random Access Memory (RAM): This is where the operating system (OS) and other application programs and data in use can be stored so they can be quickly retrieved from the computers processor
     • Read Only Memory (ROM): Computer memory on which data is prerecorded, and cannot be rewritten or moved only read.
     • Graphics Card:This a display adapter or video card installed in most computer devices to display graphical data with high clarity, colour, definition and overall appearance
     • Sound Card: The sound card also called audio card, is an expansion card that or IC for producing sound on a computer that can be heard through speakers or headphones
     • Hard Disk Drive (HDD): This device is a non volatile memory hardware that permanently stores and retrieves information.
