- 1—Practice using tell in indirect speech.
Instructions: Student A will say the name of a student in class and then he/she will read the sentence. The person whose name was called out will give the sentence in reported speech using the verb tell. - 2Example: Maria: Carlos, I need to talk to you. Carlos: Maria told me that she needed to talk to me.I will see you tomorrow.
