Flowchart content

  1. ZERO CONDITIONALS

  2. For example:

"if water reaches 100 degrees, it boils"

There are two clauses in the sentence, the if clause and the main clause.

The if clause is "if water reaches 100 degrees" and the main clause is "it boils"

It´s a fact, the result of the "if clause" is always the main clouse.

  3. The "if" in this condicional can usually be replaced by "when" whitout the changing meaning

  4. The zero conditional is used when the result will always happen, we can make a zero conditional sentence whit two present simple verbs one in the "if clause" and one in the "main clause "

  5. "If i eat dairy products, I am sick"

This is true for me. Perhaps not for everyone, but it´s still true that I´m sick every time I eat dairy products.

Let´s see if by changing the word if to win if the sentence if the meaning will still remain the same.

"When i eat dairy products, I am sick"

let´s see if i eat diary products I am sick when i eat dairy products, i am sick see a difference in meaning, no theres is no difference is meaning, the meaning of the sentence has not changed
